A Letter from Our Founder

Hey Mama!

I’m Dr. Jessica Peterkin and I am the founder of NOAH for Moms—the Nurturing Outreach and Haven. As a mother of two, I know firsthand how rewarding and challenging motherhood can be. There were days I felt isolated, overwhelmed, or unsure if I was “doing it right.” I wanted a space where moms could come together, share their stories, and feel truly supported.

NOAH for Moms is a community where your joys are celebrated, your struggles are understood, and your faith is strengthened. Through outreach, gatherings, resources, and virtual support, we hope to uplift your spirit, refresh your heart, and empower you to thrive in every season of motherhood. You weren’t simply chosen to be a mother — you were called into a divine mission. God entrusted you with a precious life because He knows a praying mother can shift heaven and shake hell in one night of intercession.

When you lift your voice in prayer, heaven stands at attention. When you stand in faith, the enemy retreats. When you worship, chains are broken.

You are not just ‘a mom’ — you are a formidable weapon in God’s hands. This is your divine assignment, and the enemy is well aware of it.

To they that have an ear, let them hear.

Seeking the Lord daily is critical to be able to successfully bear fruit of the spirit. Rather than chasing after what’s good TO you, let’s focus on chasing after whats good FOR you.

Now, more than ever, it is time to have discipline — to exercise self-control, restraint, and consistency in our prayer life and walk with the Lord.

Philippians 2:12 states that we ought to work out our own salvation — maintain care to focus on building our own relationship with Christ.

As God-fearing mamas, raising up our children in the admonition of the Lord, it is our job to train them up in the way they should go.

In order to do that, however, we must first be committed to walking in the ways of the Lord ourselves. Mama, devotion may look different in each season of motherhood but it is clear that we must have a heart posture of surrender.

Let us remain intentional about seeking first God’s kingdom, daily renewing our minds in His word and in His presence through prayer and worship; that we may be equipped in order to equip the generations that follow.

The Lord is doing something new in this next season, but in order for you to experience the fullness of it, you have to let go of some of the former no longer serving you. It can be toxic relationships, compromising circumstances, or even old ways of thinking. Whatever that weight, that baggage is—we must release our grip on those things of old and hold steadfast unto the Lord knowing that it is He who has our best interest, purpose, and plan.

“He who has an ear, let him hear.” (Matthew 11:15)

The enemy has no authority, and will use everything in his limited power to cause you to use your own authority to speak negatively over your situation. Even in moments where you might feel overwhelmed with defeat, he is a liar.

Decree God’s words in the midst of your trials and tribulations and watch as your mindset begins to change as you walk in authority and dominion. The enemy has no choice but to back down and flee.

Let the Word of the Lord, fill your mouth!
